2D Rigging

Ambrose - Personal Work

Ambrose is a mouse character I designed to test my skills with Harmony! He has a full set of pose libraries for his hands, feet and mouths for lipsync, as well as a series of OGL handles, joint patches and deformers for easy layered posing.

Judy - Headspace (Thesis Film)

JUDY_rotation.gif

Judy is the first of two characters I designed and built for my 4th year thesis film. She's fully deformable, and able to act, lipsync, and have drawing swaps easily added for new hand/mouth positions as needed.

An interesting design challenge for this rig was her angular elbows

To solve this, I used a synced drawing swap layer to allow for two cutters on the upper and lower arm to square off the side I needed to be pointed.

This effect was copied for bends in the legs as well!

Starla - Headspace (Thesis Film)

Starla is the second of two characters I designed and built for my 4th year thesis film. She's a floating character designed to have very flowy movement, and her arms can swap between 2-part and single deformer modes to help facilitate that.

Leo - A Walk In The Dark

Character Design by Cassy Lat

LEOSPIN.gif

Leo was built for my 3rd year group film at Sheridan. His rig contains textured lines to match the style of the film, as well as Master Controllers for the Head and Body to help speed up animation.
